In this article, we take a brief look at Mediumship in our Psychic Abilities category. We ALL have psychic abilities, but some people may not be aware or even want to believe that such abilities exist. If you are one who is sceptical and reading this, it may be that the Universe is in the process of preparing you for your very own awakening! We are all spiritual at heart, and we each live our lives under the energetic influences of the Universe whether we are consciously aware of it or not.

MEDIUMSHIP
A Spiritualist Medium has the ability of being a channel or bridge to the Spirit World. The gift is called Mediumship. It is the ability to connect and communicate with the Deceased, Spirit Guides, Angels, Ascended Masters, and other Spiritual Beings. A Spiritualist Medium may also be referred to as being a Channeler.
Spirit can communicate with a Medium in various ways – often through any of the ‘Clair’ abilities. For instance, if the Medium hears Spirit, they are using their Clairaudient ability. When a Spirit is seen as a life size apparition in the room, the Medium is utilizing their external Clairvoyance ability. Spirits may also present themselves in other ways, such as appearing as a mist, shadow or orb.
Trance Mediumship
A trance medium allows a Spirit to step into their body and use it to make their communication; the medium will speak in the voice of the spirit and appear to take on the Spirit’s personality. Transfiguration can occur too, where the Medium will literally take on the appearance of a Spirit.
A conscious Channeler does not need to be in a meditative state to communicate with Spirit and will receive information while in a fully conscious state.
Every Spiritualist Medium or Channeler has their own unique way of connecting with the Spirit World and communicating with Spirits. If you have the ability to be a Medium within you and it is meant to be a part of your life experience, you will be drawn to discover it at some point on your life journey.
LIVING LIFE THE SPIRITUAL WAY
The level of spiritual awareness that we each attain during our lifetime is truly influenced by the Universe. If you are somewhat sceptical and not sure you believe in psychic abilities, do be aware that there is a possibility that at some point in your life the Universe may begin to activate your Soul and take you on a spiritual journey where you discover your own psychic abilities. This can happen at ANY time in your life, and it is only at that point can any scepticism truly start to diminish.
It is apt to say ‘Never Say Never’ when it comes to the Universe and the Life Force energies!
