Clairaudience

CLAIRAUDIENCE

A person who has the gift of ‘clear hearing’ is called a Clairaudient. The ability is known as clairaudience. A true Clairaudient usually hears Spirit voices, flute music, celestial choirs singing, and other sounds. White noise is heard that sounds rather like a radio that isn’t tuned into the station. On the whole, clairaudience is rather like listening to a radio or a TV as the sound is amplified. The Clairaudient may tune in and communicate with lower entities as well as higher entities such as their Spirit Guides and Archangels.

While some people may develop Clairaudience in this life time, others are born with the gift, having developed it in prior lifetimes. In the case of the latter, it can remain dormant and so you may not be aware that you have the gift until much later in life. When you are ready, the Universe will bestow you with the ability to access your gift, and when activated, it may open spontaneously and unexpectedly. When that happens, you may suddenly become aware that you can hear a voice talking, or flute music playing. You may also hear a lot of white noise, such as ringing, whooshing, buzzing, clicking noises, etc., which may be intermittent or continuous, rather like tinnitus or sounds of radio interference. These noises may intensify and become exceptionally loud prior to the Clairaudience opening but then settle down.

Adjusting to Clairaudience

For some people, clairaudience may be loud and clear, but for others it could be barely audible. In that instance, the Clairaudient may be able to distinguish between hearing a female or male voice, but not actually be able to clearly hear the words that are being spoken. Most people hear the sounds internally in their ear(s), however, more rarely, some people may experience external clairaudience, whereby the sounds may appear as though they are in the room, rather than in the ear.

Some people are born with their gift of clairaudience open, while others may not experience Clairaudience until later in life. If the latter occurs and regardless of whether the clairaudience is internal or external, the Clairaudient usually needs time to adjust as it can be quite frightening initially.

Clairaudience can be heard on a conscious level or when in alpha state. The sound will only keep you awake at night if you intently focus on it. As you drop down the levels to go to sleep, Clairaudience naturally tunes out. There is a chance that you may be woken up by a Spirit voice when you are having a dream. When you are in the process of opening up to Clairaudience and becoming accustomed to it, it can be quite frightening. As time goes on however, you adjust and accept it as being a part of you. Quite simply, when you are clairaudient, you will hear all kinds of sound at any time of the day as that is the quirky nature of this incredible gift.

I receive messages through my thoughts, am I Clairaudient?

Some people receive spiritual messages / insights through their thoughts and consider it to be the gift of Clairaudience. It is however a totally different ability. The ability to receive insight through thoughts is actually called Claircognizance. It is NOT the same as Clairaudience. Spirit will however use whichever channel is open to get a message through and so the insight is valid however it comes through. A Clairaudient actually hears amplified voices and sounds, just like listening to a radio. It is totally different to receiving insights through your thoughts or listening to that subtle voice that has always been there in your head when you think about things.
