In this article, we take a brief look at Clairgustance in our Psychic Abilities category. CLAIRGUSTANCE
A person who has the gift of ‘clear tasting’ is called a Clairgustant. The ability is known as clairgustance. The Clairgustant perceives an overwhelming taste of a substance in their mouth which isn’t physically there. Quite randomly, the taste will simply appear in the mouth and may linger for a while or it may disappear as soon as the Clairgustant has acknowledged the taste.
The Gift Of Clairgustance
The ability of Clairgustance may be experienced in various ways. For example, a Clairgustant may perceive the taste of a friend’s favourite drink while talking to them on the phone or suddenly taste a favourite food of a deceased loved one while thinking about them. It’s a common occurrence for the Clairgustant to perceive the taste of a substance when in communication with Spirit. This gift can be particularly helpful in providing evidence when a deceased loved one is trying to communicate from beyond the veil.
The gift of Clairgustance is one of the less common ‘Clair’ abilities, and while there are people who are blessed with this gift, more people are likely to have one or more of the other ‘Clair’ abilities. A Spiritualist Medium may have this gift.
LIVING LIFE THE SPIRITUAL WAY
The level of spiritual awareness that we each attain during our lifetime is truly influenced by the Universe. If you are somewhat sceptical and not sure you believe in psychic abilities, do be aware that there is a possibility that at some point in your life the Universe may begin to activate your Soul and take you on a spiritual journey where you discover your own psychic abilities. This can happen at ANY time in your life, and it is only at that point can any scepticism truly start to diminish.
